High Win Rate Strategy
Updated
The High Win Rate (HWR) strategy is the easiest OptiTrade 2.0 strategy to run. Instead of asking you to tune Signal Length or Stop Loss, its AI engine does the heavy lifting and produces high-accuracy signals with almost no setup. If you want signals that win often and settings you barely have to touch, start here.
How it works
HWR uses a machine-learning engine (kernel-based pattern classification) to recognise high-probability turning points. Because the AI handles the analysis, HWR deliberately hides the Signal Length, Stop Loss and Risk-Reward dials that the other strategies expose — there's simply less for you to get wrong. It enters on a signal and exits when the opposite signal appears.
The settings unique to HWR
- Use Filter to maximize win rate
- Adds an extra AI filter that removes lower-confidence signals. Fewer trades, but a higher win rate. Turn it on when you want quality over quantity.
- Candles Backtested
- How many candles of history HWR analyses (default 4700). More history gives a broader test; fewer candles focuses on recent behaviour and loads faster.
- Don't Use Exitspure-signals mode
- Turns HWR into a continuous flip strategy — it goes straight from one trade into the opposite trade on each new signal, with no separate exits (the same idea as the Buy-Sell strategy).
Best practices
- Turn on Use Filter to maximize win rate if you want the cleanest, highest-probability signals.
- A high win rate is great, but always check the Dashboard for Total Profit too — many small wins still need to outweigh the occasional larger loss.
- Set your position size sensibly in Risk Management — see Core Concepts.
Quick start
- Add the High Win Rate strategy to a chart.
- Optionally turn on Use Filter to maximize win rate for fewer, stronger signals.
- Set your Account Balance and risk Mode in Risk Management.
- Watch for confirmed signals (wait for the candle to close) and trade them by hand.
- Review the Dashboard across a few symbols and timeframes to find where HWR shines.
